2 Roast Cascadia Dong DingFloating Leaves Tea
After months in the charcoal laboratory, we've finally got a version of our own charcoal roasted Dong Ding that is ready to go out into the world. This tea base material is from our dear friend Farmer Su that makes the Dong Ding Tradtional A.
The tea base is oolong from Dong Ding, roasted by charcoal fire in the Washington Cascades. It is a well structured, muscular kind of oolong that is able to get where it needs to go to satisfy: penetrating aroma, beefy mouthfeel, spreading on the tongue, throaty aftertaste and belly warming finish.
The two roast version is sweeter and more aromatic, with relatively delicate character.
This is a humble, honest tea that is the result of our passion project of charcoal roasting our own Dong Ding Oolong.
