Yunnan Gold


This tea is from the Puer producing region of Western China, Yunnan Province. It is made with long, whole leaves and has a significant amount of golden tips.


This season the tea tastes very different. Higher quality picking with long full leaves. Fermentation is not as dark as before. Notes of dried fruit and herbs. Very fragrant. The biggest difference is that there is more fruity, floral and herbal notes and less malty, cocoa flavors. We find it to be very clean and feels good. Still works great with milk for a luxurious treat.
